I almost bought a few of these last year. How are they working out for you? You enjoying them?

Yes they are cool. The male is a Tremper Albino. He is very tame. It eats out of my hand. I don't trust the others enough to try it.
One laid eggs yesterday. The incubator didn't work so I had to make an incubator with an aquarium heater.

I'm not sure what kind they are, but they sure are noisy little buggers, lol. Somehow, one got into our apartments fire alarm box & set off the alarms at 2am last month. Not too pleasant when it just kept getting louder & louder & louder.. ~:O

No idea, the fire alarms were drowning out any sounds they might have made. :o

paidreader do the geckos make a sound similar to "toe kay"? Kind of like you were choking someone and that is all they could say.
Wow 10 leopard geckos. A lot of maintenance.

That is what my girlfriend thought I was getting. Day geckos like the talking one on tv are very nice. They eat baby food.
You can make really nice vivariums with lots of plants and house a community of them.
My geckos are leopard geckos. They are quite different than day geckos.
But hey you live in Texas. You have all kinds of creepy crawlys running around outside.

I have 2 Female African Fat Tail Geckos. They're awesome. Both close to 2 years old. I've been wanting to breed them for a while. But since I'm back in college, it's better that I don't, b/c of the time factor.

I have one leapard gecko. He struggles in the winter months. I think he will never make it but he always seems to make it to summer then he is very active, and eats very well. He isn't an easy pet to keep alive. Any tips?

Do you have a heat rock or some other type of heating device in the cage?
Leopard geckos are less active in the winter months if they are allowed to cool. But you should not cool an unhealthy animal. An example is a fat healthy tail.

Well, actually I do not have, or own any Geckos, but, from some time being, some of this creatures have come to live in my house, I know now that geckos are the only reptil who do noises, and I can hear them, specially at night, I even find eggs, from time to time. Yet, I rather donĀ“t have them in the house, whenever possible, I catch them and place them in the backyard, where, I believe they can be more happy.
