We all must have experienced the Grand-Father's Wall Clock, I mean the pendulum type, always showing time from a fair distance and saying time also by its hourly chime! It is very funny to read the time from this clock while the pendulum(Thanks to its inventor Galilio) keeps on swinging steadily. Though operates manually, it posesses a firm structure and some cases decorative design also! Now-a-days these clocks are mostly replaced by battery operated quartz clocks(Of course few are designed with pendulum for show only!) and very rarely come to notice. Still a piece of this machine keeps on oscillating, saying time with chime at my native place. Though we have already faced troubles in its repair time to time, we insist the clock technician to make it okay at any cost and delay. I cann't say how long its spare parts will be available to face well its repair but as it goes with its merry oscillations, we forget about its uncertain out dated technology. Should we not feel proud for its oscillations?
