My friend is gay.

My best friend is a gay.I didnt know anything about it.But found him always very understanding and caring.My husband also never objected to my friendship with him.Recently he wrote and acted in a play on the life of these people.I got introduced to his friends .His group is Different.I found it odd, but I understand them.Society doesnt accept him n them too.What should I do support him or just cut myself away from him?

He hasn't done anything to make you not want to be his friend, right? Are you just afraid of what other people will think of you for being friends with him? If that is the only reason you would avoid him, then you are the one who doesn't deserve him as a friend, IMHO. You don't have to do anything different, just keep being his friend.

Thanx for responding.I dont still know,wheather he is right or wrong so I fear.All give different opinions.

If you are truely his friend then you will accept him for who and what he is. If the friendship was not that strong or not meant to be then it won't happen. You can't force something that isnt there.
