.........Assembled a new computer!

Hi today I have assembled a new computer with a Dual core pentium 4 processor@2.88Ghz,MSI945GZM3 motherboard,256Mb RAM(hynix),250Gb hard disc(hitachi),350va SMPS and a samsung combo drive.I installed using my Universal XP image and is running well....In your opinion How good is the configuration.
Is it good,very good or excellent one....

I think it's a rather strong on two sides and a bit weak on the other- Dual core cpu is definitely ok as well as the 250 GB for storage. You need to increase the RAM however to have an optimal support for multimedia, graphics and 3d games. 1GB RAM is optimal for most configurations. BTW, you need a good graphics adapter for this about 256 MB ati/nvidia card will complete the setup (in case you're using an on-board one)

With a P4 processor at 2.88 Ghz, I would say that 256 Mb RAM is on the low side. The processor certainly deserves to be supported with at least 512 Mb RAM and probably 1 Gb.
Nevertheless, you have a decent system that should serve you well for most purposes.
