Is this a "bad batch" of american idol contestants this year?

In my opinion, I just cannot believe that half of these singers are on the top 12! I am almost embarrassed for Sinjaiah every time he goes up there and sings. I really expected way more from him on the last performance. As for the others, no one really has an "amazing" or unique voice. Some can sing but they don't really stand out to me the only one that might even be close to unique is Blake Lewis because his style in singing is different. But I don't think he can really win it though. I'm just so dissapointed this year. What do you think? Tell me more, I'd really like to hear your opinion...

Why don't the show just kick the guys out and let the gals compete with each other? Top there should me Melinda, Kiki, Jordan...disappointed at Stephanie....Kiki getting a bit cocky, Melinda should stop being so humble..

The majority of artists I heard on American Idol were not that good this year I used to love listening to the American Idol but this year the majority of them were not all that good. And I did think that Blake Lewis is one of the best that I heard this year.
