Why my Mom stops me watching Cartoon Network?

well...i watch cartoon network too...n i also buy dvds of tom n jerry n justice league......n my mom,dad n sister also scold me for that....they think iam still behaving like an immature kid.... but watching cartoons doesnt mean that iam immature...it jus makes me happy rather than to see the other boring stuff in tv...
