I hate sesame street

I'm sitting here watching sesame street w/my kids and I can't believe how all the voices are different. Has big bird always had a stuff nose? And my duaghter is picking up bad habits from grouch.
I'm not a bad mom, just a tired one who sometimes needs to turn on the tv and let he kids vegg out.
But really, the voices are terrible.

My children are well over the age of sesame street but I still have family members with children that young. I find myself dumbfounded by some of those shows. But it is interesting to hear the changes in them. As for that particular show, some of those people have been on there for YEARS. But your are right. I can hear differences on the shows now. I never thought about them being terrible, I think most of the shows are annoying.

I hate it too. I grew up with it, and my son watches it, but only for Elmo's world.. and it's not high on the list of the programs he likes. He usually watches Blue's Clues, Diego, and Little Bear.
What habits is she picking up?
Don't feel bad, all mom's need a break, and since it's educational and not crap, it should be okay to do!
