Before yesterday, I'd never heard of this site before, and I guess now I know why. It doesn't seem like ANYONE knows about it! Where'd you guys find out about it?

Mylot does have a lot of members (78,704 at the moment but not all are active), and when you consider the fact that it's international, it really is a bit quiet here. Anyone that I've talked to in real life or even on the internet in chatrooms has never even heard of it, they don't know what they're missing out on! It seems that "myspace" is the big hit on the internet, mylot could catch up though!

That's sort of what I meant. For a social networking website that actually PAYS you to interact on it, it's really quiet. I've been weighing the pros and cons of posting to other sites I'm on, but am worried it'll get as crazy as some of those are. And Edmonton itself seems pretty quiet.. surely with the way our hockey club is going downhill, someone must have something to say? :P

I was posting to a site similar to this called Yahoo Answers. I love helping and giving advice, learning, and interacting with others so when I saw the link to a site that I could do all of that and get paid for my time... I hurried over here to myLot! The only real differences are: 1. Yahoo doesn't pay 2. At Yahoo you must ASK a question 3. You don't get to 'pimp your profile' like you can here The funny thing is, I thought I'd promote my referral link for myLot in Yahoo. Afterall, that's what directed me here. I wanted to stick to their guidelines and ask a question, so I asked if anyone had ever heard of myLot and continued by telling them what this site was all about and then adding my referral link, of course. Do you know those %&$#!es deleted my question!? They must have heard of it and lost a lot of users so when they saw "myLot'... they hurried to delete it. That's my best guess anyway! Welcome and Have Fun cuz this site doesn't pay enough to quit your day job ; )
