How has God changed your life? Were you a complete heathen before coming to Christ, or were you merely a person who "hadn't killed someone"? Each one of us has our own unique story, and I believe our pasts happened in order for God to use us in the way He wanted to. For example, I was into different kinds of drug usage from the time I was a senior in high school, until my Junior year in college. I came to know Christ as my Savior and Lord in October 2000, and my life began to change dramatically. The changes started happening on the inside, but by continuing to read the bible and watch one of my favorite TV ministers (Joyce Meyers), the manifestations of those changes began to show themselves to the outside world. I can truly say that God has shown me it is possible through Him, to make everlasting change. Now, I believe I am uniquely qualified to be in my current line of employment, which is a Probation and Parole officer. I see the effects of continued substance abuse problems on a daily basis, and I believe my testimony gives some of them hope that they too can be set free of their addictions.
