What is a successful life?

Ugh...that kind of talk dives me crazy. Being sucessful isn't having the most stuff. To me, being sucessful is being happy with what you have and feeling content in your life. Haveing all that stuff won't necessarliy make you happy, in fact many people get so caught up in consumerism that they feel they never have enough and hence are never satisfied with their life. I think that would be an awful feeling. While I do sometimes get caught up in that "want/need" mentality. I try hard to pull myself back and realize that in the long run, having all that stuff isn't what makes you successful. Doing good works, and leaving your mark in apositive way is what, to me, makes your life more successful.

For me, you can say that you are successful if you are happy. Happy whatever you have or your situation maybe. Hapiness is contentment. If you are content on what you are right now and you are happy about it... then you are definitely Succeded life. :)

Have you noticed the people who are considered successful lots of mony etc don't appear to ever be satisfied! Me i'm successful i have a wonderful hubby 4 children i adore beautiful friends and i'm happy not so much money but hey to much corrupts and makes you forget the impotant things like smelling the flowers and seeing the beautiful things

Having a wonderful happy family n stability in life is the only thing needed in life. having everything like cars, business, houses but no happiness in life doesnt mean to be a successful life in my view. Live life to fullest, enjoy, have fun, takecare of ur responsibilities n enjoy every bit of life.
