Do you consider body piercing as art?

This kinda reminds me of that scene from pulp fiction where Lance asks Vincent if he's single, & would he like to double date (can't remember the exact words)& Vincent (Travolta) asks is his date the one with all the sh1t in her face. Due to all her piercings. As already quoted, some piercings can look ok, but some people go to far & look like Metal Mickey.

If it is done nicely and there’s just enough body piercing (I think more than three is too much), then it’s cool for me and it’s artistic. But if there are way too many body piercing and it is scattered all over your body so that it doesn’t look neat already, then I don’t think it’s already exaggeration and I can’t consider it as an art.

actually i am not a lover of body piercings..i think we shopuld wear only earnings in our ears..and better if only girls does it..maybe i am just too conservative,but i dont think that rings are beautiful!

i think it is an art. i never had one and not thing of having one but i think piercing is cool.

i love body piercings and tattoos. i dont have an tattos and not many piercings cause they are very expensive...and permanent. but i do want lots! i totally think its art because its expressing yourself just like if you painted a picture.

It is a from of self expression and if it works for another then it can speak volumes of who they are for the rest of us. Like body language. I like tattos and the piercings are not something I particularly like. I do have pierced ears though. They are not selected for certain jobs so that is a form of prejudice.
