Can anyone save mankind from the coming bird flu pandemic?

Hi all I myself am very worried for the posibility of a bird flu pandemic happening very soon, I am preparing, have started to buy respirators, disinfections, and hundreds of other products to be able to prevent and treat myself and my family when the pandemic strikes. I have also set up a website for my own needs and in order to share what I know with others, www.pandemic.nu .I havent been in mylot for a long time so I thought I would ask what people in here think about the bird flu etc, I would be very happy to reply to any whatsoever questions people may have, as i know myself that the fear of a pandemic raises many question in anyones mind.
