What are some books from your childhood?

What books do you enjoy sharing with your children? I also teach pre-shool and share a lot of them with my class. The Giving Tree, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Mother Goose Poems, Green Eggs and Ham. Those are just a few. I don't have enough room to put them all. What are your favorites?

I totally loved Hop on Pop! I too taught preschool, as you know. I got really sick of Goodnight Moon. I remember a book read to me by my third grade teacher called M for Mischief and another called Avalanche!. I have always loved to read and don't recall reading anything I didn't like at least a little. I liked the Chronicles of Narnia. Did you know that the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe wasn't the first book? Aesops Fables was great too.
