Short hair only for some people?

I think with the right style you can look good with short hair. I have alwas had long hair. I looked into getting it cut shorter last year because I am tired of it. I think there is something to the advice on hair styles for certain face shapes. I have a big head, so I can't have really short hair. I look funny even with a pony tail. I have to have my hair at least medium length since the shape of my face is full and round. I have tried those online makeover websites where you can upload a photo of yourself and try out different hair styles. I haven't found a good site that I could reccomend, though. The hairstyles they have to choose from aren't very good. I wish I could find a site that I could try though. I am too scared to just let someone cut it. Every time I have ever let anyone touch my hair, they have chopped it up and cut 3 more inches off than I wanted. I have had to cut my own hair for years. I am pretty good at it. I think you could go as short as shoulder length with your face shape. I hope you find a style you like and are happy with. Let us know if you cut it. I would like to see how it turns out.
