Are there really any sites or surveys out there that will pay people without expecting them to purchase something? Has anyone really found there are any sites out there that will pay you for doing anything?

I do surveys for www.erewards.com. You earn money for doing surveys which is redeemable for a list of items on that site. You can use your money to get free magazine subscriptions, gift certificates for sponsor web sites, or airline miles. If you get asked to be on a special panel you get more money. I earned 75 dollars for doing a three day survey (where you only had to log in and answer questions about an hour each day). So far I have redeemed the money I have earned for additional US Airway miles and $15 dollars added to my Borders Rewards account. I am waiting till they add some more rewards to spend the rest of my money. I just joined www.clearvoicesurveys.com too. They don't send me many surveys though. You can redeem money earned at this site for amazon.com gift certificates or at buy.com. You can also get cash for your earnings. If you have a US Airways frequent flyer account.. you could check out their www.emiles.com program. The surveys you fill out here earn you additional miles in your account.

I guess one of the things that I should have made clear is that I am looking for surveys that will pay people who live outside of the US. I keep signing up for surveys only to find out that they don't pay people outside the US, but they I find my mailbox full of their stuff.

Sorry, I believe the sites I mentioned are for US residents only.

I'm a member of several survey panels, two of which I believe are open to UK members. For both, you accumulate points which can be redeemed for cash. They are lightspeedpanel.com and MyTNS.com. For Americans, MyTNS.com is Mysurvey.com.

I have found many paying sites mainly survey sites and I am a member of about 70 genuine survey sites. I found all these sites through joining a site called surveyscout. Although there is a one off fee attached to this site it lists 100's of sites and tells you if they are for USA/Canada only for the UK or Australia or are international sites. I would be a member of a lot more sites but being in Australia resticts me also. I don't normally pay money to make money but I found this site to be invaluable to me as I have made my money back over and over. If you want to take a look at the site go to my website which is on my profile page and you will find the site named surveyscout on the first page. Good luck.

PineCone Research pays $5 per survey, but you have to be lucky enough to get an invitation, or find one on another site. I got one 3 years ago through MyPoints, but MyPoints doesnt do them anymore. I suggest doing a search on where you can find an invitation.
