more and more are interested to run for the congressional and senatorial seats, because of their self interest...the pork barrel fund,which is worth millions is up for grabs...whoever is elected in office...what do you think??why would someone waste his money (millions)in the campaign period just for the heck of serving the filipino people..i dont think so...how can he get it back if his salary doesnt even reach 100k a month? i think the answer is the pork barrel fund.....

We have the same idea, running for a position in the government especially as a representative costs a lot of money and where can they replenish what they used during elections? thy dont have large salary, they rely on pork barrel fund and other funds from the government. That where graft and corruption comes in. And also the so-called "SOP", its a bribe. That I think why many people wants to run for a position, all for money, to enrich themselves.
