I mean you hear stuff on the news.. but some people do some stupid stuff. I ve been on there for about 4 years now and met alot of cool people off there and dated a few of the girls i have met. I think it gives people a chance to meet people they normally wouldnt. So i would so give it a try if you dont use it and see if you like it. Just dont meet people right when you start talking to them and if you ever do meet them meet them in a public area. So good luck with it!!!

As long as you act your age, than you should be fine. I mean, don't act like you're 20 if you're 15 or vice versa. If you see a profile that violates the terms of service, you could always report them. (I forget how.)
I like myspace. Because you can get in touch with people from your school... and people you have'nt had contact with in a while.:)

The problem is not with MySpace, the problem is with the people who use it.

Not if you stick to people your own age and try not to act 20 when you are really underage.
I have alot of friends on myspace, only about 2 or 3 are underage, but I always hope they are using good sense when talking to others that are older than them. I'm choosy about who I approve and the 3 are lucky to be a part of my friends list, because I'm not fond of having underagers in my list, but they are good kids and as long as the adult you opt to talk to doesn't try getting too personal, its fine.
They also have a block user option and also many profiles of underaged kids cannot be viewed, myspace automatically sets it to just invited people. I'd suggest you leave it that way and find kids your own age to talk to.

I've had a MySpace account for a few years now (and I still do). I log in about once every 2 days to check my messages and stuff. I don't have a problem with it. Just make sure to watch out who you talk with (it CAN be dangerous if you don't be careful).

I've never felt in danger on myspace but I was an adult when I signed up for it so don't feel threatened by predators really. As long as you don't give out your address or anything else personal you should be safe.
I'm having problems viewing my profile today so I think technically there is something wrong with myspace today.

I do not think that it is so much the site as it is sometimes the people. It would also depend on what part of my space you were hanging out in, and what kind of behavior you approve of, and have yourself.
I have been a member of myspace for a few months now and do not have any problems with it. I do not go on there every day, but when I do go on there, I do not have any problems.
My friends on my buddy list have always been very helpful (like passing on info about new viruses and such.) i don't find it as interesting as a few other sites but I do not find it harmful, either.
