Earlier India had won the Cricket Worldcup
in 1983 . At that time India was considered
as a lad in the cricket world .
And in 2003 , India was considered as the
hot favorite and many believed that India
would win the worldcup . It was after a gap
of 20 years . Unfortunately , India could
not win it in 2003 .
And now again , India is one of the hot
favorites . Yet , it is seeded at number
8 in 16 teams . And Indian team has to work
hard to prove itself and win the worldcup .

Absolutely right if theres a team that can win the cup thats india. coz the only team that has the capability to do so is india and if everything goes right india will repeat history after 24 years

I wonder why everyone is talking about India, West Indies, Australia and Sri Lanka and there isn't a word about South Africa which is in stupendous form that they were in 98-99. They are very strong in all departments. Especially fielding. Jonty Rhodes is their fielding coach and it shows. This team has chasen 400+ target, which in itself is a miracle. My all money is on this great side.

No chance man. That India is going to win this time is a dream. It has to be South Africa this time. It was in pathetic shape the last world cup and it has improved leaps and bounds since then. Another team which is in very good shape is England. I wouldn't think of any other team lifting the cup this time other than these two.
