Child in the hopital

A few days ago one of my kids was put in the hopital. I stated there with her until she was able to come home. I was torn, I have two other kids at home, and my baby in the hospital needed me the most then how do you tell the other kids why mommy is and sister are not home, and cant just home. How do you tell them sister will be ok.

I am sorry to hear about your little one and hope that all is well now .
I ran into this problem last year when my baby got the flu and landed in because she was dehydrated . My daughter at home was really good though and seemed to understand that Mommy would be home as soon as she could with her baby sister as soon as the doctor's made her not feel sick anymore . She was two at the time and the other children were older so they understood . I found it hard being apart from her as she was still quite young herself but I called her everyday and if someone was coming up that way they would take her up so she could visit with her baby sister and I a bit that day .

I called my other kids too, and my daughter who was in the hopital as sick as she was wanted to talk to her sister and tell them she loved them. She is a very sweat kid and loves her sister very much. she was thinking more of them when she was sick them she thinking of herself
