yes, India will win the cup.

no, i dont think India can win this world cup. first, this indian team is plagued by injuries and though the players say that they have recovered, most of the players i find are very injury-prone. secondly, india's over-dependence on Sachin will not get the team anywhere. Sachin is not getting younger neither are Sourav & Dravid. the backbone of the Indian batting line-up is no longer young and the younger lot are neither experienced nor do they have that killer temperament. another thing i notice is India has won very few matches by coming back from the brink. the great indian middle order collapse is famous in the cricketing world and our bowlers have seldom single-handedly won matches for us. and of course the fielding leaves much to be desired. how often have you seen indian fielders hitting the stump on target and 'running out' batsmen? these things really count and the indian team does not live up to these benchmarks. apart from being patriotic, i have no high hopes of this team.

Umm YER .. India got the full ability to make this world cup theirs with just being a little more careful India Has been one of the best teams so far.. Lets just see it for ourselves ... Who wins and Who lose.. PEACE :)

It all depends on team behavior. We need our team players to work hard. Definitely they have much potential and they can win as we have experienced team blended with young and enthusiastic players.

India has the potential for winning Cricket Worldcup . Earlier India had won the Cricket Worldcup in 1983 . At that time India was considered as a lad in the cricket world . And in 2003, India was considered as the hot favorite and many believed that India would win the worldcup . It was after a gap of 20 years . Unfortunately, India could not win it in 2003 . And now again, India is one of the hot favorites . Yet, it is seeded at number 8 in 16 teams . And Indian team has to work hard to prove itself and win the worldcup .
