Some songs by The Beatles which use Indian classical music.
1)"Norwegian wood" uses the Sitar and the tune is inclined to 'Raaga Bageshshri'
2) "Within you without you" uses Tabla, Sarangi and is based entirely in Indian scale
3) "The inner light" uses Shehnai
4) "Strawberry fields forever" has a very small but use of Sitar
Which one these do you like the most? Are there any specific reasons for it?
Personally, I like "The Inner Ligh", because I feel the mood of the composition is 'pensive'.

Sorry about this but i havent heard to beatles much but if its the question of using indian instruments by western artist i guess there are a lot of albums which are being made using indian music. Nows the age of fusion and people are mixing up music from various parts of the world and why not if its good for the growth of music

The Beatles music which was Indian wasn't of "fusion" type exactly. It was pure Indian with a touch of British sound, not a homogeneous mixture like fusion. And they had done it in the 60's. I don't think any artist from the west had done that before.

"Within You Without You" is my favorite. I adore that song. Also, the song "Love You To" from the album Revolver features tabla, sitar, and tamboura. It is my second favorite!
