You are right. This question has been on here a number of times. The chicken came first. On the fifth day of creation Genises 1:20&21 God said "Let the waters bring forth abundently the moving creature that hath life, and the fowl that may fly above the earth, in the open firmenament of heaven. 21) And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. so you see it was the chicken.

My favorite food would be pizza, spaghetti and fried chicken. I really like pizza with toppings of mozzarella cheese and beef because it is very delicious. I even put a hot sauce on the pizza.

According to creation the chicken came first because God first created all the animals and fowl on earth. But according to evolution the egg would have come first, but then it is a bit confusing. So the best thing is to forget evolution and embrace creation for the purpose of answering your question.

If you will take this saying as word to word way the reply is as simple as that I mean biologically the EGG being the first which came on this green planet earth. you have to refer the evolution theory for this.
But this saying in actual sense is used to mean it's central idea as "one should not waste the time in useless discussions and should reach the proper way to the synapsis of the meetings or the overall communication as such.
Instead of this people get involved into unnecesary combats and contradictions in smaal and useless issues.
I think, you got my point?

i feel it is the egg which came first....maybe some species had a crossbreed and laid an egg which hatched into a chicken....
