How true is it that Hollywood movie producers are hesitant to create new and more movies nowadays because their sales decrease in the whole world, not just in USA?

Maybe the cost that produce a excellent movie is becoming more and more expensive. What is more, the story have no too new ideas in them, so the people are tired of them. Only the big scene that depend on tons of money but no dieas are not attractting again!
