Well does anyone here use Hairstraighteners? Yep I do. And guess what you should NOT do
When you have finished doing your Hair you unplug them don't you? Yes I do to. But what was not a good Idea was putting them on the Floor forgetting and standing on them. Yep I was dancing swearing and never mind the rest.
Just another blonde moment I guess, well you all know me, I mean come on I have been good for a week so what did you expect. And do you know what was best, Gissi thought it was a new Dance and joined in by jumping up at my leg while I was rtrying not to scream. Oh I love this little Man, specially when he is so considerate to join in.
Its ok Magic Cream has worked, lol.
Hey my dear Friends thats me and I think you all know that by now, lol.

My daughter is always leaving her hair straightener on. I almost burned my fingers off yesterday because I thought I would see if it was on by touching the plates. One of these days it is going to go flying across the room. I don't care how much the dang thing cost. It must have hurt when you stood on it. You have to be more careful. You have only been my friend for a few weeks and this is 2 accidents already. I think you are accident prone. Is that possible?

MY daughter used to live it on all the time too, until she burned herself:)
After that , her memory improved so much... no more living it on hehe

Poor, poor gabs. I feel for you. You are so unfortunate. Thanks for the warning because I also do that, except, I leave the curling tongs on the floor. It might also be a good idea not to leave a hot hairdryer on the bed, particularly if there is a nylon bedspread on it...but I won't go into all that now...lol.

Gabs, Gabs, Gabs. What will we do with you? Hey! An idea! What say we make you a brunette? Or maybe a redhead? No, I think a brunette. Now when you spend time with Mel next week, see what she thinks about having a brunette for a mum - much less accident prone.
Just one question, Gals, dear. WHY on the floor? I don't use a straightener. I use a wand, but I have never put it on the floor. I have a small cutting board which I put on the vanity unit and leave my wand on there. I guess I'm too lazy to bend down to the floor.
You know, if Gissi could talk, she'd have a lot of tales to tell. Just as well she can't write, or she'd spill the beans to all your adoring family on myLot!
Well, Gabs I'm sure hoping your Magic Cream has worked and that you are not having any problems with it now.
Enjoy yourself with Mel next week!

But I like being blonde if I promise to try and be double careful can I stay Blonde please Cloud.
I put them on the Floor when I have finished with them to cool down as I do my Hair in the living room Bedroom is to cold lol. And normally I put them far enough away.
As for Gissi oh yes he would have a few things to say, like finding it funny wrapping his lead around my Legs yesterday and me trying to get out of that one. I love my dog he so lovely and full of Mischief lol

Gabs, you wouldn't be you if you weren't blonde - and you wouldn't give us so many laughs, so please stay blonde!
Gabs, I award you first prize for changing your avatar so frequently! Almost every time I look through my "discussions my friends started" I think there is an intruder!

Hey blondie, anything else to share? :) Hhahah. I don't do those things. I don't straighten my hair, it's straight. I don't curl it, as it won't curl. But, I do blondie things like putting milk into the closet. Hehehe.

Gabs, I think you try to have all of the accidents, so that we do not have to have them. I put my hot irons on a special rack that I have. Please find a safe place for your hot things. Of course I have a burn on the back of my hand, because I hit the hot coil inside the oven. I am fixing to go bake some more! What is magic cream? I will check back later to see.

Oh honey; that sounds so painful! I hope you are ok now. I have a tendency to forget I switched them on and pick them up! And as for not burning my ears... well! There is definately an art form to these things that I'm not getting!

when you use hair straightener, use hair serum. it will leave your hair volume and smoothness. just an advice.

gabs, you really should be rolled up in cotton wool and kept somewhere safe, is this the same foot you sprained on the sock cupboard black eye incident or do you now have a matcing pair of sore feet?
Putting something cold on a burn helps sometimes, or running under cold water.
You really need to think a little bit more sometimes honey, but at least you kept Gizzi amused, my dog joins in when I hop about in pain too.

Lololol no it was the other foot lol I do things right you should know that by now. As for Gissi no coment lol he just sat there after with his ears up and looked at me
I stood on a bag of frozen Veg lol so they are in the bin now as they melted well, hahahaha
I would rather be put in a Glass cabinet then Cotton Wool. But then again no not a good Idea I guess I don't think Glass and me would go together what do you think lol, but it could be fun

It sounds like something I would do. I am glad you are ok. I have a million accident stories to tell. I am so accident prone that my mother-in-law wrote into our vows (she was the minister who married us) that he would love me through stupid injuries, many hospital trips, and that he would always have benefits to make sure I was well looked after. It was a great inside joke for the family and close friends, everyone laughed. My father-in-law says he bought the house they did (just minutes from a hospital) thinking of me. Glad they all love me.

accident prone I may be but I learned real young not to use hot things. To stay away from cliffs and anything that I may fall off of. I was a flagger and I learned to run fast when cars came, don't like getting hit, hurts a lot. I trained in martial arts and found out fast to duck, got kicked in the head by a 3rd degree black belt and KO'd. But I have never over nighted in the hospital except when my son was born. Luck be with me. Thanks for your concern I am learning as a go, stairs are a problem for me, I fall all the time and I live in a split level three story with basement. Think I would figure that one out, ranchers are better.

Hugs, Gabs. I'm glad the Magic Cream work ok. It must be the side effects of medications and/or thinking too much about
others that cause your clumsiness. When I'm preoccupied with thoughts I become clumsy and drop things and walk into chairs and tables. I try to focus on what I'm doing but it is not an easy task.

Oh dear Gabs...I feel your pain friend. I, myself am sporting a bruised scrape mark of a claw that tore my skin as Lucy jumped over me to get out of the car.
I'm supposing you broke your appliance...yes? Oh well...tomorrow is a new day. Better luck friend.
