I normally prefer my notebook to watch movies because first of all i can watch it from anywhere and at a close distance making the picture clearer( knowing its bad for my eyes ). Then there is also the advantage of connecting a headphone to the notebook, so that each and every note of sound is clear and properly understandable.
But if i did not have a notebook, i would have watched movies on the television set.

i don't have a notebook. i only have a desktop computer. but when watching movies, i prefer watching movies on my television. pixels are better and images on telly are clearer than on my PC. plus, the sound quality is better.

well, why not? atleast, your notebook can get a rest, too. hehe. it's like a person. it gets tired, too. we just don't know it. but honestly, try to watch movies on telly. it's fun!

I always use the television to watch movies. I have a DVD drive in both the desktop computer and the laptop, but I rarely use them for playing films. The only type of film that I play on my computer would be an opera, which really constitutes the same as playing music files in the background while working on something else.

For the fullest experience I like watching films at the cinema. The sound quality is so much better.
I also like the excitement of going out, usually with a nice meal, and generally the whole build-up to the 'main event'.
