what is this rating

about ? how important this rating played in mylot ? one threads that i read emphasise that rating will increase our reputation - is this true ? how does this work ? i ve been here for quite sometime and i never ever rate anybody yet please lighten me up about this ? thanks

I have started to rate people. Recently I have been going to discussions that my friends have started to see if anything is interesting is there because I will always give my friends a positive rating.

Like he said rating others to get ur rqating up is a good option, U cant go rating every1 - then they will get frustrated and rate u -ve too:(Also rating is very important cos many mylot users add u as a frind only if u ahve a good rating, they think that those with a low rating are not fit to be mylotting, so better rate me +ve for this:P

It is important for members of mylot to rate other members' discussions. If you think that their discussion or response is of good quality, then rate them with a +. If it is offensive, too short or it is in direct violation of mylot guidelines, rate them with a - and report them using the ! button if necessary. If you rate people and increase their reputation and rating, they will do the same to you in return.
