The Needy and Homeless

First and foremost society needs to stop treating them like they are "less than" ppl....Stop beating them deeper into the ground with the cruel words/actions and so on....I also think the government needs to stop claiming they'll do something about it and actually DO IT...They need to stop taking away funds for the organizations that are trying to help these ppl..they need to start giving money to them to open up more facilities/soup kitchens/shelters etc....when a request comes in for money for more beds at places like Woman's Place..HELP THEM OUT! Dont turn them down by claiming there is no money (which is a crock of b.s! and this actually happened in toronto a few yrs ago) Ppl need to realize that homeless ppl more often than not DONT WANT to be there....I was one of them...I hated it, every minute of..it was hell and a very depressing, harsh existance....Instead of assuming the homeless CHOOSE TO live like that..ppl need to take the time to find out the truth and act accordingly IMO....

You are getting a + rating for a fine posting. It is up to the people to care enough to do something. Instead of looking down at them. They are people with needs and emotions. For whatever reason they are out there, I am sure it was not by choice.

i say eliminate the guy at the top of the totem pole and give the money that person makes to build a home for 50 people to live in as they need it. then there's food, kick the second in charge out and feed a million people for a year. there we've got living and eating out of the way, for a few. then theres the health problem get rid of the ceo from each health insurance company and save a million more lives, with what is saved in income. better than all this lets stop the descrimination between those who have and those who have not. why don't we all put our hand in our pocket and try to help the needy.........i'm getting tired of pulling the wagon by myself, it gets heavier every day
