you are stuck in the public toilet and you find out there is no paper....

That does not happen to me. I always look to see if there is toilet paper there, and if there is no toilet paper in the bathroom at all, I go to the people in charge of the facilities.

Lol, a very real setting.. good discussion, you deserve a "+". :P I will try to dig through my bag and see if I can find ANYTHING that I can someone use to clean my um.. a**. Failing which I will look for water source within that cubicle. Failing which I have no choice but to take off my undies and clean my a** with it... then go without them. Hey, the devil or the deep blue sea. I have to choose one yea? :P

I always carry some toilet paper in my purse. Several years ago I was stranded in the bathroom for almost an hour before a woman came into the bathroom, so I could ask for assistance. This was so embarrassing that I had no plans of ever being in that situation again.

I always have a pack of tissues with me, so would be save that way! However if I was caught out, I'd probably use a paper hand towel if the toilet had some, if not I think I would be sitting there until someone else wanted to use the toilet and ask them through the door LOL!!

ummmm nice discussion... and seems like there are quite a few who would just say.. "duh been there done that"..lol well, personally I haven't been in a mess like this coz I always have my tissues in my purse or pockets wherever I go. I don't really feel comfortable going out of the house with any tissues with me... :P and to answer this question, as much as possible I would check if the toilet has paper before actually doing my thing there and try to keep it 'till I get home if there's none.... but if I really can't help it and stuffs seems to burst out I guess the first thing I gotta do is to check if there's a water faucet in the there (but am not sure if there's a lot of public toilets having water faucet inside the cubicles). then if there's none then I would check my purse if I could find some papers (even writing pads will do) which I could use....if luck still isn't with me, I guess the last thing I gotta do is to take off my undies and use them to clean my a*s...lol I guess I can just manage to go home without one... well, that's unless am not wearing my mini skirts.. lol

I always have tissues in my pocket or purse, so I've never been caught totally helpless. I have no clue what I'd do if I didn't have any tissues... I say, carry tissues whenever you go out, they're good for all sorts of things :)

firstly i will blame myself for not checking the paper before i enter. if there is no way out then i would see for some paper in my pockets ... and the last option would be the currency notes....

i always carry a tissue with me. but if i dont happen to have a tissue with me, let see, maybe i'll use my handkerchief. maybe i'll use any scrap of paper in my purse-a receipt or something. maybe i'll remove my sock and use them. or maybe i'll take off my undearwear and use them.
