Did you ever own a squirrel????

I once owned a squirrel. my dad happened to find it. It was during a storm that he found it thrown under a tree. Since it was too small to look after its self, my dad brought it home. It was kinda difficult to look after it, coz it did not even open its eyes.. but them we managed tolook after it... It was the coolest pet i ever owned.. we even had a parrot.. so it used to be kinda funny to watch the parrot chase the squirrel all over the house...

its nice to own to own a pet always.....i too had one..a common one...a dog..but unfortunately he passed away..

Sort of. Back in my old house there was a squirrel who would always come in to our backyard and climb our trees, same one we believe as he always climbed the same tree at around the same time each day. One day my little sister and I asked our mom if we could put out food for him so she made us some snacks and we put them in the backyard. Almost everyday we would put out food for him and he would go over and get it. Our dad wouldn't let us touch him or keep him out of fear of rabies so we were only allowed to feed him. But he started coming to our window one day and we would tap on the glass and he would run in a circle then run back to the window and we'd do it again. I never got to pet him, but he did come up to my shoe once and ate right next to me without flinching. I don't remember if we named him but we "had him" for a while. Then one day he just disappeared.

wow... its really amazing on hearing about owning a squirrel........ i love animals..... especially squirrels..... i see many squirrels at my place... but i am really sad that they are not interacting with me... i mean i tried to divert their attention towards me by giving them some eatables... but no use... what i have to do to make them as my pet as u said...

no, but i've seen many pictures of people that had pet squirrels and they were so cute. they'd curl up and sleep with their other pets. sometimes when i see the squirrels jumping around i think of my ferrets in the house and think they would look like that if they lived in the wild.
