I am happy at BHF. Disregarding the unsatisfactory compensation I'd get, it's the satisfaction of my curiosity and the very inviting working environment that elates me.
I still am, until Coca-cola text messaged me Wednesday evening asking for my OTR and 2x2 ID picture, and that I needed to be interviewed again. Later on I found out from my mom that they're already certain for my slot at Coke.
I have always wished to work for Coke. That's why it was the first company I've applied to October of last year. Though a HR personell always got me posted, I wasn't given assurance. By January I was given an examination for Sales, but since then they've not called. Though she kept telling my mom for me to wait, my patience has slowly faded.
By that time Stephen text messaged me to apply at BHF. I was hesitant at first because of the negative feedbacks about the compensation, but I didn't care. I wanted to work, immediately! I went by the last week of February, took an exam, then one week after I was immediately called up for orientation. That was fast.
I had a hard time deciding to accept the job or not. Still I took it. Now, I'm into another difficult decision-making. It's hard for me to leave BHF that fast because I've learned to love the people and the work there, and I'll be getting the opportunity to stay in Manila. It's hard for me too not to accept a job at coke either because of the very big opportunity I can get! BHF versus Coke? Man, there's definitely a big gap between the two.
I'm torn between the two. Very torn.

My Sweetheart works for a relatively small company, and the pay is OK. It's not what he's worth, considering his education and experience, but it's pretty good. It's very personal, and there are only 9 employees. It has it's drawbacks, just as any workplace setting would...
I personally would prefer the smaller setting over a larger one any day.
