Does anime shows or movies educate us sometimes?

Actually, anime can be considered as a subliminal media in education just like any shows in TV. We may just see it as something that gives entertainment, but if we think critically, there are lessons hidden in a facade through moving pictures.

i know some anime makes you think...but since the anime is from another country and translated into other languages, it does teach you things about their culture, i mean, thats one reason i like watching it and i let my kids watch it because its part of their history and to let them become a little famliar with the culture.

Yes I think you're right. They do teach us things that would help us in our lives. Every anime storyline has it's own strong points and peeks when maybe they really inspire you and make you feel like "if he could do that, then I can do wht I wanted to". They really teach lessons of self-esteem which help you lift your confidence

Some of them are quite philosophical and that's probably my favorite thing about them.

Some anime titles really educate viewers.Anime does not just tackle entertainment,some even give lessons on life and how to deal with certain situations we encounter.Anime has evovled into a form of entertainmet that is now cuturally diverse and therefore education and entertainment now comes with that.

We watch a lot of educational cartoons at my house. All of the cartoons on our local access channel are educational. Sometimes they teach basics like colors and shapes, other times they teach things like telling the truth and how to be a good friend. I will always choose an educational cartoon first.

yep, anime's not only entertain us but also teach us different things such as leadership, friendship, camaraderie etc.

anime movies always has a moral/lesson learn. whether it is an adventure, a fantasy or a sport anime. You might as well observe that there's always a adult character that always give advice, and lessons to the main character.. though anime is created based on imagination and creativity of the writer, Good lessons and personal advice are incorporated on every series or set..
