Do you get more money from responding to responses or starting a discussion?

I hate to say it, but I have only noticed my earnings growing when I respond to other members discussions. I have started some discussions in the past and I don't recall getting any earnings for getting responses for them. I tend to think I am earning only by replying to other members discussions. I reply to them with quality and quantity. I know alot of members here who disagree with responding and they think they earn more by starting their own discussions. I would much rather reply to other members anyway so it all works out for me. I have never took one full day to only start discussions though, so I really don't know how much the earnings difference would be. I do like what I earn by responding to others though. I think it all depends on the quality of responses you receieved on your discussion also as to how much Mylot will pay you for them. That could be one good reason for low earnings on the 115 responses that you received.

I have wondered this too so thanks for bringing it up and asking. I was told that you get paid for starting discussion as much as you would for answering posts but you can make more money from answering discussions if your discussion gets a lot of responses and if your picture (if you choose to add one) gets a lot of views. The one thing that I wonder if how can you increase the number of responses you get. Sometimes I post random things and get lots of responses and sometimes I post something serious and don't get that many responses, if any. I guess I will continue posting and hopefully I can have this system figured out but maybe I never will.

In my experience with MyLot, I have earned more from responding to discussions than I have from posting them. I've also earned quite a bit from uploading images, and describing those images in great detail. The more written, the more earned per posting.
