y parents feel that watchng movie is a waste of time??

i love watching movies but why do the parents feel that this is wasting money n time? movies r not that bad??
is that they dont understand us n r needs but once thay where teens too?/
wat r ur opinion??

this is they case with PC games and TV too, infact everything that we like to enjoy.
