anyone know about sales tax in texas?

Hello, I am filing my sales tax for the month and have a question about sales tax in texas. I sold some items to a school which is non-exempt. Do these sales need to be put in the total sales column only then not counted in taxable sales since i didnt collect any tax? or am I responsible for paying tax anyway because it was a sale?
