Interest icons. Who chooses them, and can they be reset?

I'm rather new here, and I notice that sometimes the icons that are shown under my interests change. I'm wondering who is doing the changing, since it isn't me. And is there a way that I can personalize my interest icons?

I dont know who sets those icons and they do sometimes change. I have noticed that too. I cant help you out though. You can personalize your intersts but I dont know about the icons that go with them.
