Cold Stone Creamery or Baskin Robbins?

Which do you prefer?
I prefer Cold Stone because of the way they mix in their additions (like candy bits) rather than putting them on top of the ice cream. I also think the flavor of their ice cream is better than Baskin Robbins. Baskin Robbins is pretty good, but I think Cold Stone is better because of the quality of their ice cream. What do you think?

I have never tried their Cake Batter ice cream...I want to, though! It sounds really good. It's next on my list!

I prefer Cold Stone too, although I used to absolutely adore Baskin Robbins as a kid before Cold Stone was around. Cold Stone has a much larger selection of course, which is what I really enjoy. That way I can make up really unusual flavors instead of having to settle for what other people think is popular. Not to mention, around here the Cold Stone employees are friendlier and always in a better mood and the Baskin Robbins employees almost always seem grouchy.

I have never had Cold Stone Creamery, so I guess my vote is Baskin Robbins..LOL which is very good. My top preference, which I haben't had in years though, is Dairy Queen. I really like the Blizzards. I really like soft serve ice cream. Schwann's has really good ice cream too though, if you want to enjoy some at home.

Schwann's is a little expensive on some things, but it is very good quality. They have a whole dessert line. I have not had the ice cream cakes, but have heard they are very good from my boss and a friend of mine. Right now we have Schwann's Peach Frozen Yogurt. It tastes just like ice cream to me, has fresh pieces of fruit chunks in it, and is only 2 grams of fat per serving. You can't beat that!

Yeah, I had never had Cold Stone until last year. I grew up on Baskin Robbins, but once you try Cold Stone you'll never go back! lol...I do agree though that Baskin Robbines is good. And I love Dairy Queen's Blizzards as well! I've never tried Schwann's, but I have had their ice cream cakes which are incredible! Thanks for responding!

I enjoy Cold Stone Creamy, as they have many interesting add ins. They are mixed in well, so you can enjoy them in every bite. Its fun to watch them make your dish, as they make it right in front of you. They are great about offering a sample, so you can try out a flavor that you haven't tried already.

Yes, Cold Stone has my vote, but have you tried a place called Brewsters? They make their ice cream daily and it is sooooooo awesome:)

Both are delicious! But I prefer Baskin Robbins. They have so many flavors of ice cream, although FYI, stay away from the bubble gum flavor. Also, Baskin Robbins have THE best ice cream cakes in the world!

I'd definately have to say it's Baskin Robbins for me! They have so many awesome flavors and I like how they have seasonal flavors too. At Thanksgiving time I like their pumpkin pie flavor and I love their chocolate mousse and chocolate chocolate fudge flavors.

My favourite is Marble Slab, which I think is pretty much the same as Cold Stone, maybe like the Canadian equivalent? They make all their ice cream fresh on the premises and add mixins on the cold marble slab, it's sooooo good. The have some really unique flavours I've never seen anywhere else. My absolute favourite is cinnamon ice cream with fresh blackberries mixed in, it's just amazing! And the waffle cones are so yummy too, they make them fresh every day.

I used to love the Marble Slab chain until I discovered that they don't wear gloves. Now I'm a coldstone convert. I love their german chocolate cake mix, and their cake batter flavored ice cream. If you are ever in Austin, TX, however, I must say you should eat at Amy's instead. They have the best pre-packed flavors and really interesting flavor combos for mix-ins.

I like both. My favorite at Cold Stone is the sweet cream with pecans mixed in. My favorite at Baskin Robins is the peanut butter and chocolate.
