well hi to every one...naren here again....well i like to give some information about the famous guitarists ........
1.jimi hendrix:
with his wild man image and toothy gimmicks,he is in a inspiration for heavy metal music.the distorted sounds in purple haze and the wind cries have carried his fame allover.he died at 27 of drug related problem.
2.jimmy page:
he is famous for his alternate tuning,which gives his guitar a sitar like sound.the formation of led zepplin in 1968 brought him unparalleled success.
3.eddie van halen:
the two handed tap on the instrument has brought the masses to this gutarist of dutch origin.his fame doubled with his solo in michael jackson hit,beat it.
4.eric clapton:
nicknamed slowhand because of his forceful string-bendings that often break.he is the only one to perform three times in the royal hall of fame.
5.joe satriani:
credited with 11 solo albums and 13 grammy nominations.surfing with alien was his first instrumental-album to crack the top 40 charts.
6.kirk hammett:
known as the ripper,this student of satriani for his custom mad einstrument.a vegan,he has his name and birth date tattooed on his tummy.
7.carlos santana:
this hispanic-american was inducted into the royal hall of fame in january 1998.eight grammies were won by his album supernatural.

Johnny Winter - Albino blues rock guitarist from Texas. Stick thin with white hair and pink eyes, but the most amazing slide guitarist, particularly at Woodstock
Slash - brought Les Paul's roaring back into fashion, in an age of super-strats, rack systems and a million notes a minute brought back a more soulful bluesey style
Dave Gilmour - says more with a pentatonic based blue lick than many players do widdling. Thunderingly atmospheric and tasteful.
