when you post an issue here do people usually think the situation is about you?

Most of my posts are about me, but in cases where I am posting about somebody else, my family, friends, or just somebody I know, I'll make it a point to emphasize on my post who that story belongs to...
like just a while ago, I posted something about a tattoo my friend has..so I made it known there that it wasn't me having this tattoo issue but my friend. :P

I usually think that whoever posts a situation has the same situation happening to her. Well I guess I'll post a situation as if I am telling it to my best friend. Meaning, whoever is really involve she/he should be the main character.

thank you klystron for your response:)
i do have a different opinion here
i think that it can be a problematic thing or situation that i saw, want to share and help..and will be gratful to anyone that will be of help also..but the main character does not have to be me..
