It's very difficult to raise a child especially if you are alone, I mean if you don't have a husband. To rear a child and send him to school is not a joke. My only child grew up and I was able to send him to college - 15 semesters, but he did not finish any degree. He's so lazy and he did not work until he's 32, but now he found a job and I hope he would stay working and become responsible as he was so irresponsible before. To let your son work and be responsible of what he is supposed to be responsible of is the most challenging problem that I encountered as a parent. It's really very difficult because my son does not even respect me.

I don't know what to do with my kid; he is with his mother as we separated when the child was still 2 years old. Now, my son is already 9 years old. I have no sufficient money to support him. That's my present problem as a parent.

I have 2 sons and both have sickness. The younger underwent dialysis then kidney transplant. It's really a big challenging problem to raise money for my son who underwent kidney transplant. We spent more than a million pesos and we got the amount from many people and we are very much indebted up to now. His maintenance medication is still a problem and his health is a big problem for complications may arise anytime. To keep a child away from sickness is the most challenging problem I have encountered as a parent.

I have 2 daughters and the younger is retarded with down syndrome. She's now 21 years old. It's really very difficult to deal with this kind of abnormality and this is the most challenging problem I have as a parent.

I am not yet a parent but I guess the whole idea of being a parent is a challenge. I can never magine myself raising a son or a daughter. I mean I remember how hard headed I was when I was a kid.

With 3 children 7,4, and 7 months my biggest challenge is keeping my house clean. It seems that it is a constant battle and nothing stays put away or smudge free for more than a few seconds. Plus finding the time to clean is like an act of congress.

My husband left me with 3 children to send to raise and to send to school. This is not a joke and this is my most challenging proble. It's not easy to feed 3 growing children and send them to school.

As a parent, almost everything is a challenge. Right from day one you have the first challenge of understanding what a child is trying to convey when it starts crying. Then the next question arises when the child suddenly looks at you without emotions, then you start questioning whether it is able to see, listen, feel or not yet. As the child grows the challenge moves to ways to educate the child and keep it engaged. As time moves the next obstacles are things like child's development and social interaction. Cheers! Ram
