My husband does this all the time! And always when the house is a mess or the kids need a bath or something! So I am frantically running around yelling for him him to help!lol! His response is usually - nobody cares that the house is a little messy hon, relax! I though I would get him back and do the same thing to him but it didn't work! He didn't mind at all. If you find that manual please let the rest of us kmow!!!

What is with men an not caring that the house is messy. GRRR. He has done that too me so many times i can't even count on two hands. GEESH!! You will laugh at this. I did to him yesterday! I totally forgot that my mom wanted to spend the day with me and thekids. I was supposed to ask for the carseats before heleft for work. I forgot! So i made him come back at lunch and bring them back. Then i sprun on him that we were eating dinner at my mom's . LOL. Darn it . .It didn't phase him one bit. GRRR!

Mine doesnt do this and I am sorry yours does. It has to be very frustrating. Try putting a dry erase calender next to the phone and he may be inspired to write it down if he learns of the plans over the phone. Also try picking a time that both of you are home and relaxing and maybe just ask him if he made any plans with his family. Like when your eating dinner or something.

My sister gets mad because her husband does this ALL the time. His grandmother will call HIM and tell him she's coming over for a visit. Then he will forget to tell my sister until the last minute, then call home and say "My grandma's coming over this afternoon". My sister will say "IT IS THIS AFTERNOON!!" only to hear a knock on the door w/in minutes. This happens to her ALL the time. It's really just friggin' rude and irresponsible. I think his grandmother needs to call HER, not him, if she wants to go over there. And ask. Don't just tell somebody you want to come over. UGH. And my brother in law really needs to get a clue!!

Caila, I am not Married and not a Girl or women, But I do it sometimes with her (Whom I love mostly in my life) just because I like to give her a surprise, just because she loves me, cares about me, but always refuse when I ask her to give a GIFT, she always always told me, that Don't give me a GIFT, just be with me, always. So that I like to surprise her, like same as your husband do to you. I heartly want to tell you something that Thanks to god for such a sweet husband and HAPPY MARRIED LIFE.
