I think it's all about quality and length. You need to go in depth a little bit if you want to earn more. Also, you should try to add something new to the conversation. If you just repeat what the previous posts have stated, using your own words, you might not make as much. I'm new to this so I'm not really sure and I don't think we're supposed to discuss how the earnings system works. I mean we can discuss it, but we aren't supposed to state things as if they are a fact. So, all I can say is that so far I have made between 2-3 cents per post, but I never respond with just a few sentences and I try to bring something new to the conversation. For example, this post would be considered a short one for me, but still only took a few minutes to write. Most of my posts are even longer and more thought out.
Also, like others have said, this isn't a place to make an income. However, if you're going to be on the internet chatting and posting anyways, that you might as well make a bit of spending money while you're at it!

Making money on MyLot is not the only reason why we are on this website. Since I have joined, I have met several friends, gained a bunch of great information, and found a spot to talk with my friends. The money is a bonus. Just like any other business opportunity, though, it is about building a referral base. Start with friends you know, and friends they know, and so on, and so on. You will make 25% of what they make, so those pennies will start to add up. Remember...It is about having fun, and finding ways to have fun. Then you will surely make the money.

i am sorry I am not the right person to talk about earnings...i have never understood how much we earn and how we are earning!! I was told that the longer you write the better you are paid but I don't know exactly how much we are paid...i was told we are paid for adding pictures to our profile and I don't know if we are paid for adding comments...but I like talking to other members..I like adding a comment to a post I receive on a discussion I started because this is the only way I know to communicate with a person and discuss with him or her...I like being here when I can..I use mylot to relax, to meet people and to improve my English

On average, we are supposed to be paid around 1-2 cents per quality post... the earnings algo is hush-hush so all we can do is guess. But that's about the rate now..

I think the average pay per post and reply is around 1 cents ,but they need to be of good quality. Many members also notice that their earnings have dropped in the past few weeks, I think it is because mylot had cut down the earning per post due to the increase in numbers of members to maintain the profitablity.

I agree with you completely. This has happened many a time and im not sure why this happens. Today, i did 24 responses and have been credited with only 9 cents. It's so unfair. I hope mylot gets some solutions to these problems. I think they should really be putting up guidelines on their payment scheme since i'd like to know as to how much quality and quantity they want in their responses. I want all of you guyz to start writing mails to mylot and requesting them to execute this idea. BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!

Hi my friend! was not so sure about how we are paid but I think it depends on the quality and length also the copy and paste factors attibute on how we earn a cent.
I think maybe you posted on a certain cut-off time that's why other posts was not credited to your account, but I was not so sure about it.
Just keep on posting my friend and I knew in due time myLot will increase thier rate, hopefully lol!!!
Have a great day my friend!

I try to post at least once a day. Last week I got 6 cents for one answer.
I would guess that your response's content was not defined as a quality response.
You should type your response like you are doing it for a grade like in school. No spelling or grammatical errors. If you post crap you get crap.
You have to work if you want to make money on mylot.

This is a very good question, when I started they said it was 3 cents and 4 to 5 if it was high quality. Now, I am not sure. I see some days where I get 4 cents if its quality other where I only get 1 or 2 cents and the response was very good quality. It all depends on the owners of mylot. And how much they want to pay :P
