are you a kapuso or a kapamilya?

Two major networks makes for very tight rivalry. I was brought up a "kapamilya" in the provinces, from the days when there was still "Mara Clara" and "Mr. Kupido" every afternoon and the original "Baywatch" and "Beverly Hills 90210" every Friday night. Then I went on to "7th Heaven", "CSI", "Alias", "24", "Charmed", "Smallville", "MYX", and the rest of the Studio 23 repertoire. However, near midnight, after "Oprah" on S23, I used to switch to "ICHAT" on GMA because of the anime and asianovela reruns (I miss Cat's Eye!), the music videos and livechat. After I moved to Manila, I got hooked on "Encantadia" (1 & 2, & Etheria), "Sugo", and later "Atlantika". Then there was also "Jewel in the Palace", "Full House", and now "Jumong" and "Gokusen". And the anime! I remember my younger brother bit me on the leg when we had a fight over the remote control... he wanted "Yu-Gi-Oh!" and I wanted "Slam Dunk", which aired at the same time. Kapamilya had "Digimon" but Kapuso had "Pokemon". Now I watch "Ghost Fighter", "One Piece", "Flame of Recca", and there's "Prince of Tennis" on QTV. So I guess majority of the shows I watch are on the "Kapuso" network, and when I go home to the province, my family calls me "kanguso" when I want to watch "Bakekang". I even followed faithfully the story of "Moshi Moshi Chikiyaki" on "Daisy Siete" (and I'm not even a SBG fan!) Which are you, a kapamilya or a kapuso?

Definitely I am a certified Kapamilya. Sorry but for my opinion, the shows from GMA 7 were not so good for me. GMA always claim that they are #1 from surveys. But where do surveys really come from? Anyway, it is just my impression. I hope you'll return to be a kapamilya. hehe

Haha. I'm a half-breed at present. I'm a sucker for fantaseryes (hence my fascination with the Encantadia series, Majika and Atlantika). I switch back and forth between Lupin and Rounin at present --I think Rounin promises to be interesting, probably the first Pinoy sci-fi/fantasy series! But I still love to watch Jumong on kapuso, and I'm not changing to the other channel for that!
