My boyfriend told me that he doesn't want to live with me because he'll never get any time away from me. We only see each other about twice a week as it is and he thinks he sees me too much. Why are men afraid of living with women and getting married?
Women generally start looking forward to getting married when their 16 but I've noticed that most guys never want to get married. What's so scary about it?

I think the main reason could be that he is not just emotionally mature enough to cope with the responsibilities and issues that getting married and living together entails. Men mature much later that women that is why we are more ready emotionally. Men has the tendency to play the field first before they get to settle down unlike us women who see everafter in most of our relationships.

I fear I'll lose many freedoms. I fear I'll be bombarded with numerous series of questions I either don't want to answer, or worse, feel I have to answer a certain way to attain inalienable wants or needs. I fear a limitation being placed on my degree of choice. But most of all, I fear the possibility that I'll have to change habits, lifestyles, etc. so much that I'll change into a person that is vastly different compared to the person I was before we were co-inhabiting one residence.

i don't know if they're really afraid of living with their partner... but i guess they don't want to lose that "freedom" that they THINK they're living in the present and that they won't have anymore after they move in or marry their girlfriends...
maybe your boyfriend isn't quite ready to make this step (which by the way... it's kinda huge...) and he tries to tell you something else...
don't despair anyway... men are like that... and they say we're the picky ones... nonsense!!!! lol...
give him some time to breathe... to think about the differences that would interfere when moving in with you.
good luck!
