my idea of horror is my 11 year old coming home from school, telling me she got the lead in the school play, and that I have 2 weeks to sew her costume. THen telling me that she forgot to tell me last week, and she has to have it by FRIDAY.........AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (me screaming in horror...)

I had the same sort of thing, but I had 3 days to sort it out and I made a pigs ear of it, and it looked ridiculous and my sons teacher told me off about it, the cheeky cow!!!

Good Horror films need to make you jump or at least keep you at the edge of your seat biting your nails or huddling close to your neighbor lol. Great special effect help a lot too.

We like one that brings you along for the ride. Makes you think and then gives you some blood, guts or just gore. A reward for building toward some action that is awful or appears to be so. The mind is very good at filling in what is not shown. Show enough to feed the imagination.

Evil Dead 2 - Swallow your soul, swallow your soul - I'll swallow your soul, I'll swaloow your soul!!!
Yeah with horror films, I am the same, a classic one that was good recently was the remake of the Hills have Eyes, it made you think and root for the survivors of the family and that baby(It was thrown in there to up the drama!) I thought the baby was going to get sliced and diced at one point!?Good horror films these days provide great entertainment if done right, maybe chuck in a few laughs at times to break up the seriousness of it all or even if they don't they can still maintain that level of high horror that we love!!

horror to me is something which makes me go cold , my heart race and my breathing to stop(momentarily).it can be anything from being caught talking about someone (oops)or the thought of my house going on fire (with me and mine in it ). that is horror.also the hought of a burglar in my house when i'm sleeping . ach i could go on forever .this week it was my bank statement lol.

Bank statements are evil and sick at times, as they remind you of your bills and direct debits and other transactions that drain your finances monthly, I prefer not to recieve them, and sort my finances out online every so often, usually in my tax month!!

im gona agree with our good old dictionary as say horror is intense or profound fear...and something/someone that inspires dislike....no one in my life is a horror...they are all great

That is good that you do know anyone who is a horror in your life, as that would ruin my year completely!!!
