"Ladybug" Problem.

Does anyone else have a problem with those pesky little lady bug imitating beetles? I have tons of them coming around every time it warms up and I need a way to get rid of them, without chemicals, spraying, and squashing. I just want to deter them from hanging out in the house and on my deck. Is there some kind of natural remedy that repells these? I heard of using lemon candles but that didn't work. Someone advised sprinkling parsley or oregano? Have you ever heard of that or tried something that keeps them away? They are bothersome and they bite the cats!

I had a lot of bother with ants and spiders , I had hundreds of ants in my bedroom one day and it was horrible , I bout pest repellents on SKY TV auction world channel 655, you put them in the electric plug socket and they send an electric high frequency sound it doesn't harm them just chases them away as they cannot stand the noise xx

That sounds too good to be true. Do you know if it bothers your pets? Do you have pets?

I would be afraid to spray the above in the house for ladybugs. But for the garden sounds great. I also have ladybugs. I use a vacuum to suck them up. I try to scoop up many to send outside, but it is a losing battle. I will check back to see if you get more responses as I need a good idea too!=o}

Yes, as the first poster responded: Red or cayenne pepper works well. I make an "all purpose" mix, which I keep in my refrigerator to keep it fresh: 1. two tablespoons red pepper 2. 1 cup olive oil or corn oil 3. 2 cloves of crushed garlic Pour into a plastic spray bottle and shake. Spray anything the little buggers crawl on. It won't hurt metal or wood. It forms an oily/sticky film that will stay even after a downpour. Not one insect visited my garden except the bees.

Try mixing cayanne pepper in water and then using a clean spray bottle you can spray it on the areas they congregate. It works really well for ants.
