Hi, few months back, 6 months to be specific I cam across this website http://www.prosper.com It's a site for peer to peer lending/borrowing money. The idea is realy simple, you apply for a loan and based on your credit history/scroe people bid for your loan. It's a pretty neat idea. There are a lot of checks and balances before your loan is approved. So check it out. Till date the site have 180,000 members who have loaned $36 Million dollars so far. In last 6 months my experience has been amazing I have given 57 loans and loaned $5000 so far at an average rate of 12.4% So far 2 loans have been paid off fully. 1 loan missed a monthly payment but payed it back later. Rest all the loans are current. I am starting this thread for folks to share their experince of lending/borrowing using this website.
