That's right folks. Our American Troops and their safety in Iraq is for sale. What is this nut talking about? The EMERGENCY FUNDING FOR IRAQ A bill currently before the Appropriations Committee in the House of Representatives. This is a bill set to provide extra funding for the troops in Iraq to provide for Armor and other necessities of war. HOWEVER, our great men and women of the US Congress successfully negotiated it's passing out of the committee by including the following $25 Million for Spinach growers and handlers $75 Million for Peanut storage in Georgia $60 Million for Milk Income Loss Contracts (MILC) in Wisconsin. AND THERE ARE MANY MANY MANY MORE. How is it our Congress led by Nancy Pelosi, who during her speech leading up to her election as speaker promised to cut back on pork projects on important legislation, can stake the safety of our troops, the future of our contry on whether or not peanuts get stored in Georgia.
