I visited my sister who has a fruitbearing Indian mango which has many fruits now as it is mango season here in the Philippines. I ate many green Indian mangoes, they are not sour, unlike the carabao mango when it's green. Have you seen and tasted an Indian mango? Or any other variety of mangoes? I love to eat mangoes especially the carabao mango when ripe. It's very sweet and delicious. How about you?

I too love mangoes. However I live in a place where mangoes are almost abundant. We have mango trees just outside our house. I have eaten so many varieties of mango that I probably grew tired of it. From time to time though, I still enjoy eating mangoes.

There are many varieties of mangoes in the Philippines. The piko has no sour taste whatever but many people like the carabao mango better because the piko has sometimes like buttons. I'm not so much of eating mangoes, either the green or the ripe one. I prefer the apple.

I have eaten Indian mangoes a few years back. Hubby brought them back from India. They were sweet, juicy and fragrant.
The best mangoes on sale at the local supermarkets are from
Australia. They are big, juicy, and sweet but not as fragrant as the Indian mangoes.
They look like the mangoes in this link.

We have many varieties of sweet mangoes in Davao City. I like both the ripe and the unripe but of course I prefer the ripe ones because they are sweet and delicious. Yes, carabao mangoes are very sweet when they are ripe but really very sour when still green.

Mangoes are in season now and there are so many peddlers selling mangoes, and the ripe ones - carabao mangoes, piko, and some other varieties but of course, the number one is the carabao mango. We often eat Indian mango now and sometimes the ripe carabao mangoes, so delicious and very sweet. I like it very much.

I just so loooooovvvvveeeee mangoes! I'm very happy that I'm just here in the Philippines because anytime I want to eat one, it's always available. I also like indian mangoes, they taste good especially when it's about to get ripe but not really ripe, it really taste good. I also like carabao, when it becomes yellowish because it's delicious. I don't like when it's still green because it's sour. The sour mango that I like is only the "manggang bisaya" that's how we call it here in Cebu, it's very very delicious.
