Commits.posting,answering,tagging on Mylot...

I try to remember to tag my OWN posts. I try to comment on replies to my posts, but sometimes I just don't feet that everything needs a reply.... I don't rate everything, I'm pretty lazy, but if I find a post really good I will rate it. I try & let a few responces to come on a post before I mark one best.

That's how you make money. I was really busy yesterday and only had time to post 4 comments on other people's discussions. But, my four comments earned me $0.13, which really isn't bad, since I hear a lot of people saying they only make a penny for their comments.

Ok, I've read the guidelines a hundred times and I never saw that we got paid for comments, answers or that you gain points for rating everything. My understanding is "we" as members determine what other people's ratings will be - good ratings will earn more where bad ratings less (one person isn't going to effect that it's the over all rating). Where did you read all of this? I'm dieing to know because I do rate everything (good or bad) but I do not comment on every response - if I did that I wouldn't have time to do anything else.

Do you mean commenting on everyone who responds to your discussions? If, so thanks I will try this. I do like mylot I just wish it paid a little more for all the time I put into it! As of today I've only made 2.12 cents since I've joined and it's been well over a month.

OH!! I have to do lots of things extra to earn more i never read the rules properly. My friend told me that you earn there for posting so i joined mylot, anyway thanks for all those informations that you and i have been missing, from today i'll try all this things that you have mentioned above. Hey thanks for the tips. I try to reply to all the comments that I get but I have not been rating them. This is all still new to me. I can build a website but I couldn't find the link to upload photos. LOL. Thank you for helping us make more money.

You dont actually get anything from commenting on peoples comments to your discussions! it actually states in the rules not to do that... but you get paid for many things on mylot... for every 10 responses to discussions you start you get a cent... for every response you make you can get between 1 and 3 cents depending on how well you have responded and if you get good ratings for that comment... if you get given a best response you get given a little bit more than a normal response... if you get given + ratings for discussions you start or responses you make you also get a little bit more although not much... all you have to remember on mylot is that is is quality not quantity on here... i have been here 4 months and not even reached 500 posts and yet i know i have been paid more than some that are on 2000 posts for the pure fact that i give long(ish) detailed replies whereas some of them just post like crazy and do not get as much because they have not recieved +'s or best responses! see you around!

Well i rate all my responses on my discussions, i always add tags to the psots i make. I always seem to be commenting on mydiscussions (only some) and i do ordinary posting... Last month i did not do tagging etc... I got much more... this is really bothering me because i seem to beo nly earning around 30 cents for doing 20 posts... when last month i did that many posts and earnt around 80 cents...

thanks for sharing this information and also now i have to revisit the myLot rules. what i understood from the early days of posting here is that comments get paid less than when you actually respond to the discussions. well, either way, it pays. that's the point. and personally, i like commenting back to those that reply to my discussions, it like affirming or adding more info on their replies.

Thanks for posting this one, slickcut..and making all the rest of us here on mylot know the basic rules in earning...well, I used to always rate the responses I got for my discussions and the discussions of others which I believe deserve to be rated... I also leave comments but I admit not really all the time...well, only when I have something else to add on... and for the tags, I do have a couple of tags added to my posts... do they have a minimum number of tags needed before you can earn a credit? and I guess you miss out something here, I believe we can also get credits for the images we add to our post... :P Godbless and Happy posting!

Hey Slickcut, yep, I always try to rate everything I read, so then I make more money. I noticed when I don't I don't make as much that day as the days that I do, so I always try to. Speaking of which, I am off to rate this posting. BTW I normally rate + unless the response is off topic, or an incomplete answer. You know those one or two word answers. I also had people put in random characters like "ajkleomdju" and of course them get a - rating. I try to wait a week before marking best answer, just to make sure the best answer is the one that gets marked.

Thank you for the tips, there are times that I do forgot to tag and I usually don't comment.just plain posting and responding to several discussions, I've just learned also that uploading a photo will add up to your earnings too..so I might try to do them all. I can't wait to reach my pay out limit.

I do rate people and just today i started putting tags on every response. I think the more things you do the more money you receive. So from now On I'm going to do everything. Right now I'm posting like crazy because i want to make 1000 posts today.

guyz, does logging in will also earn credits?
