Yesterday we saw Srilanka demolished bermuda.with that win against Bermuda srilanka are now strong contenders for this worldcup 2007.i feel they have got bowlers who suit the kind of pitches in west indies.the tournament is stil wide open with teams such as Australia, windies, srilanka winning the opening matches.also in forthcoming days we would see how india, south african,England,Newzealand plays.i guess this world cup would be great because all the eight test playing teams have a good chance in winning this world cup.

I know the Australian's beat Scotland in the last game, and the Mighty " ROY " should be back for the next match.
Watch out world, we are almost back to full strength, Glenn McGrath is in top flight form again, Brett Lee, the fastest bowler in the world, is getting more accurate every game, i see him as unplayable by finals time!!
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, OI, OI, OI!!!
Yeh, i know, Aussies are great players, bad losers and need better crowd chants, like the Barmy Army, but who gives a crap how bad the crowd chant is when all you do is win???
Watch out Saud Afrika, we isa cummin' and we are a wantin' our NO.1 rankin' back......
As to your betting angle, only a FOOL would disregard the top 5 nations, as in AUS., ENG., S.A., S.L., PAK., but also dont count out Bangladesh, and some of the B-Level teams, they have some really good up and comers, and all they need is team cohesion and matchtime.
And they will get better each outing.
The final is IMPOSSIBLE to predict as yet.......

Well by now we all know that the Aussies won .. again. There was some competition in the earlier games .. but that seemed to go down the drain after a while. As an Aussie I am very proud that we won the World Cup .. but it would be nice to see some really good competition once in a while.
Oh well, now it looks like we won't be competing in Zimbwabe after all .. not a bad thing really .. and I am pleased the Australian Government has offered to pay the fine .. if the Australian team does not go their to compete. So that means that another country will have a chance to come out on top for this particular games.
At the present time there is no stopping the Australian Cricket Team .. shall be interesting to see what happens as new players are blooded though.
